Week 6: [Preliminary Work] Lab 3

My design has been successful in targeting the audience of the space elevator. My design objects are those who are interested in space elevators and have relevant backgrounds, so I have successfully targeted these groups through the research and analysis of the audience. I had some difficulty in designing persona card illustrations, as I needed to express the characteristics of each persona more clearly and concisely while also incorporating elements of space, Earth, and space elevator. I did a lot of research to make my design style clearer and more concise to better present to the audience.

However, my unsuccessful part is that I need in-depth data analysis for non-audience groups. To better understand and meet the needs of different audiences, I needed to analyze my data more deeply to better understand the characteristics and needs of the population that is not interested in space elevators. While designing persona cards, I learned a lot of new knowledge and skills, such as how to better understand the needs of the audience, how to conduct data research and analysis, and design clear and concise illustrations of personas. Finally, in the design, attention should be paid to making the information more coherent and formal to better express the intention of the design.
