Week 3: Background Research and Analysis

By learning Module 3, I collect relevant and valuable information according to my topic. This information includes articles, news, and videos. The information I use is relevant to my topic. Among the information I've provided are the leading experts and researchers who came up with the idea of a space elevator. It also includes statistics from the International Space Elevator Consortium (ISEC) and the American public's interest in space exploration. From this, I learned that space elevators are cheaper and more environmentally friendly than space rockets and can help students improve their interest in astronomy and physics.

Refined TFI Statement: Space Elevator

Fact: Most humans are fascinated by space and want to explore the universe.

Problem: Not everyone can be an astronaut qualified to participate in space travel and explore the universe.

Outcome: I will use graphic design to promote a new space elevator to the public, allowing exploration of the universe for more than just astronauts.
