Week 7

This week, I dedicated a significant amount of time to using AI tools to convert static images into dynamic videos. I explored a variety of AI platforms to find the best ones for the task. For the introduction of the space elevator, I used detailed interior images of the elevator to create a realistic and immersive video experience, allowing the audience to visually step inside and feel what it might be like to enter the space elevator.

When showcasing the space elevator activities, such as the spacewalk and the zero-gravity experience inside the cabin, I transformed these still images into dynamic animations to better illustrate the excitement and uniqueness of these activities. The process was time-consuming, particularly because the AI would sometimes distort the images—like generating people with extra limbs, which required several attempts to correct.

In addition to working on these videos, I also updated my thesis process book by integrating the user testing feedback from the app, ensuring that all aspects of the project, including user experience, were well-documented.
