Week 1
Here are the three possible research methods that I'm planning to use:
Surveys:
Surveys are common tools people use to gather data in social research activities. Researchers use this tool to accurately and concretely measure the process of social activities, apply sociological and statistical methods to describe and analyze the quantity and obtain the required survey data. I can use different types of surveys in questionnaires, such as Closed and request for suggestions. This way, I can get some advice while knowing more people's opinions.
Usability Testing:
Usability Testing involves having a representative group of users, such as a space elevator persona, perform typical operations on the product while observers and developers observe, listen, and take notes. This will help me develop my GalaxiLift App this semester.
Tree Testing:
Tree Testing helps me create applications that are more intuitive and easier for users to navigate. This test identifies and solves information architecture problems in an application at the beginning of application development. The re-testing process can improve application usability and user satisfaction.
